Philanthropy

Through service and fundraising for charitable organizations, Kappa Alpha Theta’s members and chapters demonstrate their commitment to spreading the widest influence for good. Each year on October 19, Thetas worldwide celebrate founder Bettie Locke Hamilton’s birthday with Day of Service. And every year, college and alumnae chapters also host fundraising events to benefit Theta’s two philanthropic partners: Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation and National Court Appointed Special Advocate/Guardian ad Litem (CASA/GAL) Association. No matter the time of year or the event, Thetas are committed to making the world a better place.
